West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A cold front will move S across
the S portion tonight into Mon. Strong high pressure will build N
of the region tonight into Mon night, then shift E of the waters
Tue. A low pressure trough will form near the SE Coast Mon into
Mon night, then weaken Tue. A warm front will lift N across the
central and N waters Tue into Tue night. A cold front will move
over the N portion Wed and stall, then lift back N of the area
Wed night into Thu as a warm front. High pressure will build E of
the S and central waters Wed, then persist across the region Wed
night through Fri night. Another cold front will move over the
far N waters Fri, then move slowly S Fri night as low pressure
tracks SE along the front.
