West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 60 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure over the central
and S waters tonight, will shift E of the region Fri. A stalled
front over the central waters will lift back to the N as a warm
front tonight and Fri. Another high will build SE over the region
tonight. A strong cold front will move SE over the area Fri
night into Sat night, then pass SE of the waters Sat night and
Sun. The front will stall just SE and E of the central and
southern waters Sun night into Mon while low pressure forms on
the front just E of the southern waters. The low will then move
slowly N into the central waters Mon, then meander over the area
into Tue night. Mariners should monitor subsequent forecasts for
the potential of widespread hazardous conditions late Fri into
Tue night.
